    Tell us roughly when you’d like to visit, how many guests you expect, and the kind of experience you have in mind.

  • We’ll look at lodging options that allow your group to spend the weekend together at ORR.

    This is where we can address cabins, rooms, RV accommodations, the number of nights, and the approximate group size.

  • Food, cocktails, The Smokehouse, ceremony possibilities, and the moments you want to share.

    This can explain dining options, celebrations at The Smokehouse, and what ORR can accommodate.

  • Make the mountains part of the occasion.

    Jeep Ouray, hot springs, hiking, waterfalls, mountain photography, and other ways guests can experience Ouray together.

  • Once the details are in place, all that remains is to arrive and enjoy the weekend.

    This is where you can explain the final planning, arrival, check-in, and coordination with ORR.

  • The Smokehouse can accommodate up to 120 guests when the outdoor seating and dining areas are in use. Larger gatherings are best planned during the warmer months, when the outdoor spaces can be fully utilized.

    Because mountain weather can change quickly, we always recommend having a plan for inclement conditions. With enough advance planning, ORR also has enough lodging options to accommodate an entire group on property.

  • Yes. Small ceremonies can be held along the river at the resort.

    Many couples who come to Ouray choose to hold their ceremony in the surrounding mountains or at nearby Fellin Park, then return to the resort and The Smokehouse for the reception and celebration.

    For mountain ceremonies and group outings, we can help arrange local tour companies to provide transportation. ORR also has a limited number of Jeep Rubicons available for rental.

  • The Smokehouse offers a variety of menus, with smoked barbecue at the heart of everything we do. Beverage options include wine, liquor, Colorado craft beer, and craft cocktails.

    The Smokehouse provides food and beverage for events at the resort.

  • Yes—and that is one of the things that can make an ORR celebration feel different.

    Winter is perhaps the most intimate, with a quieter town and a distinctly cozy mountain atmosphere.

    Many guests favor fall, especially once the town slows down and the summer crowds thin.

    Summer is Ouray’s busiest tourism season and a beautiful time for outdoor celebrations, though lodging and availability can fill well in advance.

    Spring can be beautiful, but mountain weather is often the most unpredictable during this time of year.

    There really is no bad season for an event, celebration, or micro wedding in Ouray. The best time depends on the experience you want to create.

  • Absolutely.

    Jeep Ouray can be incorporated into the experience, whether for couples, small groups, or mountain adventures during the weekend.

    For larger groups, we can also work with local Jeep and tour companies to help accommodate the entire party.

  • We can provide a list of local vendors we enjoy working with and who are familiar with events in the Ouray area.

    Many guests choose to work with a planner, while others prefer to coordinate the details themselves.

    For events held at the resort, all food and beverage service is provided by The Smokehouse, located in the heart of the property.

  • As early as possible is always best, particularly if you are planning to stay on property.

    During the summer months, lodging can sell out months in advance, so early planning gives you the greatest flexibility.

    For gatherings, celebrations, or wedding receptions using The Smokehouse only, we can often accommodate events with approximately 60–90 days’ notice, depending on the season and availability.
